New Delhi: Tarun Sinha and Sanjeev Kumar Sood have won the online contest and the duty-free contest respectively and are packing their bags to embark on an eight-day cruise from Barbados to St. Lucia where they will witness the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup.
From St. Lucia the cruise ship “Destiny” will take them to Barbados where they will also have an opportunity to see the Finals Live. Johnnie Walker announced its association with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 as an ’Official Sponsor of the World Cup’ in February 2007.
An official sponsor of the World Cup, Johnnie Walker had launched an extensive marketing campaign, ’LIVE the Game’ whcih turned out to be a huge draw with people from across the country participating.
The ‘Red Label Super Scorer contest’ works by consumers logging onto the site www.keepscoring.com and playing virtual cricket.
The contest was running across duty free shops for lucky Indian travelers to win a trip to the Caribbean. All they had to do was purchase $22 worth of Diageo products and answer two simple questions to be a part of the lucky draw.
