TCS eyes $495 mn revenue from new activity
Mumbai: India’s No. 1 software firm, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, launched a low-cost product for small firms on Wednesday and said it aimed for annual revenue of $495 million from the new activity in about five years.
The integrated software services for small and medium business houses will initially be offered in the domestic market and expanded to overseas later.
“It is possible to develop a Rs20 billion ($495 million) business in four to five years," said N. Chandrasekaran, chief operating officer.
Tata Consultancy, which gets more than half its revenue from the United States, had posted a revenue of Rs59.24 billion in the December quarter.
