Insider Alert | Asian Paints
Each year, Asian Paints forecasts the season’s “it” colours for our walls. Rather than settle for just one option this year, they have hedged their bets, chosen five themes, and 12 colours. The Techno theme, an orange, white and silver, has a bit of a dated feel to it—more Berlin Love Parade 2000 than 2008. And the Blush theme, with a shocking pink and an emerald green, has been on Lily Pulitzer dresses for the past 10 years. But the Revive, Refine and Synergy lines are all soothing combinations for refined, elegant looks. Revive brings back a dark brown and a salmon pink, reminiscent of the 1940s. Refine has two beautiful, rich colours of violet and gold. And Synergy has three ocean-inspired colours—green, sandstone and turquoise.
Asian Paints can be purchased at outlets across India and at Saraswati Marg, New Delhi; Asian Paints House, Shanti Nagar, Santacruz (East), Mumbai; and Osborne Road, Ulsoor, Bangalore. The price per litre starts at Rs300.
