Hamlet: Encore Theatre Screening
5-7 January
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of London’s National Theatre, a theatre screening of Shakespeare’s longest play, Hamlet, is being held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts. The play, which focuses on themes of power, murder and revenge, stars Rory Kinnear, Clare Higgins and Patrick Malahide. 4 hours.

Dastangoi
3 January
Listen to three tales told in the traditional Urdu storytelling form of dastangoi. Two of the stories are from the epic Tilism-e-Hoshruba and the third is titled Dastan-e-Taqseem-Hind. Directed by Mahmood Farooqui. 2 hours.
