Artist K.M Adimoolam has spent his life perfecting the art of drawing. He started out sketching portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and today has over 100 of them, some of which, along with his other drawings, are on display at his solo show, Lines from an Artistic Life, in the Capital. The breadth of his work covers still life, kings, warriors, holy men and street theatre actors, drawn with charcoal and ink on paper and canvas.
As part of the exhibition, a book will also be launched on the artist’s oeuvre, encompassing his drawings of over three decades.
