What is the USP of this phone?
Honestly, I didn’t think of its USP in detail after I designed the phone. For me, this is a different and peculiar design from many points of view. In terms of packaging, I suppose there can be many different approaches to it just like the phone.
The folding and unfolding of different layers of the phone give you a sense of it being inspired by origami.
There have been many articles that claim I was inspired by origami. However, the truth is that I was not inspired by it. I always try to find the simplest rising point of my idea. This design comes from cardboard boxes that everybody knows.
Is it a feasible technology?
It is indeed feasible. In technology, you may not know about its existence till you actually see it in front of you.
What, in your opinion, would mobile phones of the future look like?
Day by day, touch screen interfaces are getting used more frequently. Symbolic elements and using habits are disappearing or changing each day. In my opinion, when it comes to technology, you cannot be certain if it will succeed or fail till the time you have used it extensively.
