This week, children can catch up with their favourite characters such as the big, green ogre, Shrek, the mythological superhero, Hanuman, and the colourful fish, Marlin and Nemo, at the Fun Summer Kids Film Festival, organized by Fun Cinemas. The cinema is screening award-winning films that will not only entertain children, but also educate and inspire them.
The festival includes a number of workshops and other entertaining activities. On the cards are art and craft workshops and competitions as well as talks on oral care, organized by Fevicol and Colgate-Palmolive. The events, to be held during the intervals of each film, will end with children taking home attractive gift hampers. And every day, one lucky child, who grabs the lucky seat, will take home a special gift.
“This festival is aimed at providing kids across the country with an avenue that will not only entertain them with some of the best films, but also provide an interactive atmosphere for learning,” said Shirish Handa, senior vice-president, marketing, Fun Cinemas. The festival will be on 27 April-3 May, from 11am.
In Delhi, tickets are available at Fun cinemas, TDI Fun Republic, Motinagar; North Square, Pitampura; Cross River Mall, CBD Shahdara, and V3S Mall, Laxminagar. Prices of seven-day passes range between Rs500 and Rs525. Prices of separate tickets for each show range between Rs60 and Rs100.
In Mumbai, the festival will be held at the cinema hall in Andheri. A seven-day ticket costs Rs 425, while a single ticket is priced at Rs70.
