Siddhartha
by Herman Hesse (Sarabjit Chadha, Vocals)
It is one of those books that has become a habit. I can read it any number of times and it moves me every time. There are quite a few books that I read often—‘Waiting for Godot’, ‘The Prophet’, ‘Jonathan Livingstone Seagull’.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
by Mark Haddon (Anup Kutty, Guitar)
I identify with the book’s narrator who suffers from autism. I can understand the confusion between thinking logically and thinking emotionally. The young protagonist involved me completely.
The Beast Trilogy
by Enik Bilal (Randeep Singh, Bass guitar)
I don’t get to read much, but I like this French graphic novelist whose work is surreal, and very out-of-the-world.
Wingless Angel
by Antonio Jocson (I.P. Singh, Guitar)
It’s a fairytale for children about a newborn angel born without wings. I was with a friend when I found it and my friend decided to buy it for me. I keep reading it again and again.
Matarese Circle
by Robert Ludlum (Rahul Chatterjee, Drums)
I’m into the kind of books that involve a lot of countries pitted against each other. For me, a book is something that I want to put my feet up with. Nobody can beat Ludlum in the thriller/action genre.
