World T20: Quick Stats

The fourth edition of the ICC World Twenty20 begins on 18 September at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, Hambantota, in Sri Lanka.

This is the first time the tournament, which will run till 7 October, will be held in the subcontinent.

A comparison of previous editions shows that success in this format does not depend on the conditions or the pitches but on how a team plays on a given day.
