Sachin Tendulkar’s signature restaurant, Tendulkar’s, in Mumbai is famous for featuring his favourite dishes from India and around the world. What is less well known is its parent-friendliness. There’s a special kid’s menu, which features dishes with names such as Don’t Be Chicken (chicken nuggets with baked beans and curly fries) and Home Alone (rice or paratha with yellow dal and potato bhaji)—suiting varied tastes. So while parents eat their meal in peace in the main restaurant, kids either eat with them, or have fun with cars, slides, toys and books in the kids’ room, where a hostess supervises their playing or eating. Location: Narang House, 1st floor, Apollo Bunder, Mumbai; Tel: (022) 2282 9934.
