The cigarette-slim leg is a trend that’s still going strong.

Stick to the raw and crisp denim look. The colours to pick are deep indigo, blue-black and black. There is white, grey, grassy green, orange and bright red denim for an edgy, high-fashion look. The 1970s’ retro look is also popular.
Wear structured denim (cross hatch, vertical weave, herringbone), coated denims (coated with pigment dyes to give them an unusual shade) and denim with shine. Poly denims (cotton and polyester blend) are back in a big way. They add shine and are wearable for a night out or even to work on a Friday.
If you are of an average build, pair slim-fit jeans (slightly tapered from the knee) in a dark shade with a white, slim-fit shirt which has big cuffs and a pin-tuck yoke. Complete the look with a slim-fitted blazer, a pair of ankle boots in washed suede and a suede belt.
For men with a small build, a pair of slim, straight-fit jeans (falling straight from the knee) in a dark wash, teamed with a classic black slim-fit solid colour or pinstripe shirt. Wear this with a pair of black or tan shoes.
For an elegant and formal look, wear a pair of jeans with a slim-fit jersey fabric T-shirt under a slim shirt in either a contrast colour or the same tone. Wrap a stole around the neck and wear a smart pair of washed suede boots.
