Hello and welcome to the Lounge Podcast this week. We have an absolutely delightful lineup for you today. First, we have historian and author Gyan prakash, a Dayton-Stockton Professor of History at Princeton, talk to us about his new book, ‘Mumbai Fables’ (Harper Collins).
Film critic Anupama Chopra joins in with her review of ‘The Social Network’. And finally, Pradip Saha, who works in the area of environmental communication, tells us about his exhibition that involved 162 images of trash bins in paris. His exhibition is part of the ‘City As Studio’ project of Sarai at CSDS. By analyzing contents of urban trashbins, it looks at consumption from the residue angle.
