Pencil this in on your kids’ schedule every Saturday. Bombay Paperie conducts workshops to help children make innovative things with handmade paper. Melrosa Fernandes and Kinjal Shah have a range of fun courses lined up for February and March. Your six- to nine-year-olds can make animal hats today, at 3pm. Next Saturday, gift bags are on the agenda, while on 10 March, your kids (four- to six-year-olds) can craft paper masks. The Saturday after, that is 17 March, is probably the highlight: A Snakes and Ladders board-making class for nine- to 12-year-olds. Each hour- long workshop costs Rs100 per child and all proceeds are used for projects for underprivileged kids.
You can register from 10:30am to 1:00pm on Saturday or 3:30pm to 5:30pm on weekdays, at Bombay Paperie, 59, Bombay Samachar Marg, Mumbai—400 001. Call (022) 6635 8171 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
