In Lounge Podcast this week, we get a sneak peek into the week-long television programming based on British royalty’s life and times, leading up to Prince William and Cate Middleton’s wedding. Seema Chowdhary from Lounge Delhi tells us about funny inside stories about Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s wedding, an episode called Mad About Harry and lots more.
For those who’re more inclined towards performing arts than sitting infront of the TV, the National Centre of Performing Arts, Mumbai is hosting their annual dance festival called the Mudra Dance Week, from 26 to 29 April. We speak to Amrita Lahiri, head of dance programming at NCPA, who tells us about this year’s theme -- Nayaka Bhav, the male attitude -- that celebrates male characters in Indian dance forms. Lahiri also suggests few of the best artistes and institutes across the country where classical dance can be learnt.
And lastly, Sanjukta Sharma from Lounge Mumbai, reviews Dum Maaro Dum, Rohan Sippy’s film starring Abhishek Bachchan, based on the drug mafia in Goa.
That’s all we have this week.
Thanks for listening to us. We love to hear from you.
