• Jimmy Choo, the luxury footwear brand, has launched its first-ever range of sunglasses. Expect elements borrowed from Choo’s popular designs, as well as names for each pair. Fans will probably find similarities between the stud details on “Charley” and their favourite Choo sandals. At The Galleria, Trident, Mumbai. Prices start at Rs18,500.
• Leiber’s rhinestone-studded evening bags make quite a statement, and so do the brand’s sunglasses, which are now available in India. Intricate designs with colourful Austrian crystals adorn the sides of the eyewear. Available at premium optical stores. Prices start at Rs35,000.
• Roberto Cavalli’s eyewear collection for the season is inspired by jewellery. The dominating shapes of the large frames are square, with rounded edges. Pick from these striking colour combinations: white and gold, black and rhodium or bordeaux and rose gold. Perfect if you like a bit of bling. At all leading optical outlets and Shoppers Stop stores. • Oakley is taking multitasking seriously. Split Thump fuses a pair of sweat- resistant sunglasses with an MP3 player with removable speakers and control buttons that blend into the frame. • Louis Vuitton has partnered with German optical lens specialist Zeiss for their latest collection of stylish sunglasses. The patented LV Landscape Vision lenses provide high protection from UV radiation and a polarization treatment reduces reflected glare. At Louis Vuitton stores in Mumbai and New Delhi.
