With the latest iOS update, Apple is allowing iPhone users to use third-party keyboard apps. Fleksy Inc. has released its app for iOS 8, and offers a rather neat alternative to the default keyboard. There are multiple themes that users can select from, and that is just the first step of customization. There are over 800 emoticon packs that can be downloaded. This on-screen keyboard can also be resized, depending on your preference, and can be very useful for those who hate typing out an SMS on tiny keys. Fleksy also supports swipe gestures—users can run their finger across the keyboard to type words. It does take some getting used to, but eventually allows for much quicker typing. This app is worth it simply for the gesture capability.
