The Eclipse 500 seats three passengers. Food and beverage menus are yet to be finalized, but current Club One charters are catered by the Taj group of hotels.
The plane can land and take off on airstrips as short as 2,200ft, which means almost every airstrip in India can accommodate it.
The company won’t comment on prices. The plane itself is inexpensive (Rs8 crore, compared to Rs25 crore plus for most private jets). Charter Eclipse flights in the US cost around Rs1.4 lakh for a Delhi-Agra equivalent round trip.
