Cooking with Lounge | Chilli chicken, continental style

CAFÉ STYLE CHILLI SEARED HALF OF CHICKEN

Ingredients:
1 half chicken with skin
For marinade
20ml oil
10g garlic (chopped)
1 tbsp chilli flakes
1 tsp salt
2 lemons
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp black pepper
20ml red wine
Grilled vegetables
50g broccoli
60g bell pepper red, yellow, green (cut in triangles)
20g carrot (sliced)
20g babycorn (sliced)
20g mushroom (sliced)
1 baked potato
2tbsp sour cream
Method:
Pour wine, oil and lemon juice on both sides of the chicken. Rub the chiken with garlic, chilli, salt, pepper and parsley. Marinate overnight (or at least for a couple of hours). Place the marinated chicken on a hot grill and cook till both sides are done. Grill the vegetables on the hot grill with oil and seasoning. Serve with a baked potato, topped with sour cream and vegetables. Garnish with chopped parsley.
