Touch control

 In today’s home, environment control systems occupy centre stage. Lutron’s central control system looks like a space-age, micro-processor unit and controls all systems. It can also be controlled through a remote as well as wireless radio frequency, in which case it doesn’t require any conduiting and wiring, making it appropriate for retro fitting in existing homes. The unit can be pre-set to various ‘scene’ or ‘mood’ selections. It then switches the appropriate lights on and off, dims them to a pre-determined lux level, raises or lowers the motorized window shades and switches on the air conditioning, also to a pre-determined level—all at the touch of a button. The changeover from one scene to another can be made gradually so it seems seamless.
