I have a demat account with Punjab National Bank. I want to shift this to another bank.
Is it possible?
—Shekhar
You will have to open a fresh demat account with the bank of your choice and transfer all your holdings to the new account.
I hold 2,100 shares of Jaiprakash Hydro-Power Ltd (now Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd). The stock has been underperforming for quite some time. Should I hold, sell or buy more of this stock?
—Prabha
You may consider selling a part of your holding at around Rs78 and remain invested with the rest for at least six months, before taking a fresh call.
