Mumbai: Electrical equipment maker V-Guard on Thursday got listed with a premium of 9.76% over its issue price of Rs82 on the National Stock Exchange.
The scrip opened at Rs90 and touched an intra-day high of Rs98.95 on the NSE. The scrip was later trading at Rs87.25 on the bourse.
Over 47.64 lakh shares changed hands on the NSE.
The company listed 2,98,47,520 shares on the bourses.
The Kerala-based company has raised about Rs70 crore from the capital market with its initial public offer.
The company would utilise the issue proceeds to augment production capacity, enhance the research and development facilities and to strengthen the market presence of V-Guard products across the country.
