Mumbai: Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has annulled all derivatives trades on its exchange conducted on Wednesday due to a large movement of the index futures, it said in a statement.
The exchange has suspended a member from any further trading in proprietary position in all segments of BSE, but did not identify the member.
BSE has started a detailed investigation into the matter, it added.
Shares closed up 0.2% after a short special trading session on Wednesday, as investors buoyed by the likely end of the central bank’s tightening cycle celebrated the Diwali festival and ignored uncertainty in Europe.
