Godrej Industries raises Rs600 cr

Mumbai: Godrej Industries said on 21 November it has raised Rs600 crore through allotment of 2.79 crore equity shares to various domestic and foreign investors.
The company has alloted the shares at Rs215 each to investors including ABN Amro Bank, Deutsche Securities, State Bank of India and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Other entities that were alloted the equity shares include Emerging Markets Investment, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Sloane Robinson LLP and Quantum (M) Ltd.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs255.80, down 1.95%, on BSE.
Ansal Housing mulls raising ₹ 35 cr
Ansal housing today said the shareholders would consider raising Rs35.36 crore through issue of 17 lakh warrants.
The company informed the BSE that the shareholders would approve the issue of 17 lakh warrants convertible into equal number of equity shares as per Sebi guidelines, by way of postal ballot.
The allotment of equity shares would be on preferential basis to an amount not exceeding Rs35.36 crore to be issued to the promoters of the company.
The last date of receiving the postal ballot forms and the results therein have been fixed for 20 December, the company added.
Shares of the firm were trading at ₹ 177.30, down 4.75%, in the afternoon on BSE.
