Good advice is the primary driver for stockbroker selection among the nearly 4.3 million individual investors in the country. One in every three investors polled under this pan-India survey said they valued good advice much more than proven track record. Around 3.5 million of these invested in equities in the last two years. For them, reliability and trust figured ahead of recognized brand names in their choice of a stockbroker. This is among the findings of the Invest India Incomes and Savings Survey 2007, produced by IIMS Dataworks.
