Mumbai: Shares of Firstsource Solutions Ltd jumped as much as 17.6% on Thursday afternoon on the report of a block deal of 4.9% of the company’s equity capital.
According to a Bloomberg report, around 32.5 million shares changed hands on the National Stock Exchange. The buyers and sellers of the stock and the price at which the transaction took place were not immediately known.
The stock finally ended up 19.92% at ₹ 11.62 on BSE on Thursday, while the Sensex rose 1.22% to close at 19,410.84 points.
