Mumbai: Media firm DB Corp has allocated 3.27 million shares to 9 anchor investors for about Rs693.6 million as a part of its $83 million initial public offering.
The anchor investors are Nomura Funds Ireland, FIL Trustee, FID Funds, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co, IDFC Classic Equity Fund, Government of Singapore, Reliance Capital Trustee, India Capital Fund and BNP Paribas, a stock exchange notice said on Thursday.
The firm has allocated the shares to the anchor investors at Rs212 a share, which is the upper end of its IPO price band of Rs185-212 a share.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India approved the “anchor investor” concept in June this year, under which an investor can subscribe to up to 30% of the quota for institutional investors in an IPO.
