Markets end 0.4% down; dragged by IT
Mumbai: Indian shares fell 0.4% on Friday, led by losses in export-led software companies on expectations the rupee may appreciate more in 2010 and hurt their profits.
The 30-share BSE index ended down 0.4%, or 75.43 points, at 17,540.29, with 14 components losing.
The 50-share NSE index closed down 0.3% at 5,258.45.
