Global wealth

The global private financial wealth grew by 1.9% in 2011 to reach a total of $122.8 trillion.

According to a report, The Battle to Regain Strength, by Boston Consulting Group, the rise was considerably weaker than that in 2009 and 2010.

The report also shows that the number of millionaires across the world grew by 175,000.
