CIL to begin prospecting in Mozambique: report

Maputo: Mozambique has allowed Coal India Ltd to begin exploring two carbon bed blocks whose rights it won last year, Mozambican state media said on Tuesday. The government has approved the mining licence for India’s state-run coal firm and prospecting is set to begin soon, the ‘Noticias’ newspaper reported.
