From a long-term perspective, which is typically one-three years, the stocks mentioned by you are a good investment. However, if they have to be ranked in order of priority, then REI Agro, RIL and Lanco would rank first, while United Bank and Zee will be second priority. ABL Biotech will be the third priority.

What are the long term prospects of construction and real estate firms? Please give me your views, specially for DLF Ltd and Housing Development and Infrastructure Ltd for investment up to five years.

The real estate sector has underperformed the broader market so far. However, with a long-term perspective, the investment in these companies can be very good as they have good scope for appreciation in a time frame of five years.

The construction sector is now picking up at a fast pace. I maintain my bullish view on the sector.
