Axis Bank to seek shareholder nod to issue Rs35,000 crore
The bank aims to raise the amount in the current fiscal year by selling bonds
Mumbai: Axis Bank Ltd will seek approval from its shareholders at the annual general meeting on 24 July to raise up to ₹ 35,000 crore in the current fiscal year by selling bonds, the bank said in a statement to stock exchanges.
The bank is a regular borrower in the local and international market. Such AGM resolutions are common every year and are valid till the next AGM.
