Mumbai: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) is probing three brokerages—two in Mumbai and one from Kolkata—as part of an investigation into the abnormal rise in shares of Akruti City Ltd over past two months, said an official close to the development.
Shares of Akruti City, a realty player, have risen nearly 260% since 15 January including at least 150% in the last 12 sessions.
