Mumbai: India’s copper futures are likely to open lower on the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) on 17 April with no fresh news on a strike in Chile, an analyst said.
The benchmark April copper is seen opening around 345 rupees per kg, the analyst said. April copper ended on MCX at 347.65 rupees on 16 April.
Gold futures are seen opening flat on the MCX tracking overseas markets, where investors waited for new directions, analysts said.
The benchmark June gold on MCX close on 16 April at Rs12,175 per 10 grams.
