Mumbai: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has further extended the deadline for banks to stop lending to mutual funds (MFs) for more than six months until 30 June.
Earlier, the central bank had extended the transition period until 31 March. In December 2007, RBI had asked banks not to extend finance to mutual funds for more than six months.
