Mumbai: Lloyd Electric and Engineering Ltd surged 10% to its highest in nearly 6 years, adding to the 5% gains on Thursday.
The investors cited attractive valuations relative to rivals.
The consumer appliance maker traded at 6 times of its one year forward earnings that compares to 24 times of its rival Voltas Ltd, Thomson Reuters data shows.
Shares of Lloyd Electric were trading 8.52% higher at ₹ 182.20 apiece on Friday at 1.35pm on BSE, while the benchmark Sensex was trading 0.21% higher at 27,029.72. Reuters
