Indian bond yields ease from 6-yr highs

Mumbai: Indian federal bond yields ease slightly from six-year highs hit in early trade as investors await inflation data to be released around noon.
• At 11:37am, the 10-year benchmark bond yield was at 8.5%, two basis points below early peaks but still higher than Thursday’s close of 8.47%.
• A Reuters poll forecast the annual inflation rate to have risen to a 13-year high of 9.82% in early June, from 8.75% a week earlier.
