Mumbai: Tamil Nadu-based apparel company, KPR Mill Ltd got listed on 28 August at Rs201.20, on the Bombay Stock Exchange with a discount of 10.57% over its issue price of Rs225.
Minutes after listing, the shares of the company touched a low of Rs181.15 and over 10.25 lakh shares exchanged hands on BSE.
Similarly, on the National Stock Exchange the company got listed at Rs175 and touched a low of Rs175.
More than 11.73 lakh shares got traded on the broad-based bourse.
The scrip was later trading at Rs185.50 on BSE and at Rs184.35 on NSE.
The company got listed with over 3.76 crore equity shares at an issue price of Rs225.
The proceeds of the issue would be used to expand its garment unit at Arasur in Coimbatore, set up a design studio, construct a hostel at Arasur and construct new facilities to increase capacity.
KPR Mill had also made a pre-IPO placement of Rs105 crore with Blue River Capital, Brandot International and Argonaut Private Equity.
