Mumbai: Subex Azure today said it has been felicitated with the Successful Listing of the Year Award at the London Stock Exchange (LSE) by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).
“This industry recognition further accentuates our commitment to global growth,” said Subex Azure’ Chief Counsel and Company Secretary Raj Kumar.
The award is a testimony to the growing partnership between the UK and India and a reflection of how Indian firms have been taking advantage of the new economic landscape, Kumar added.
UKTI is British government’s international business development agency, the only awards from a foreign government that focus on India’s excellence as a global business partner for the 21st century, celebrating UK-India business partnerships.
The entire transaction of the company, including FCCBs (Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds) worth $180 million, a material acquisition of $164.5 million, a sponsored GDR (Global Depository Receipts) issue of $36 million and transfer of existing GDRs from Luxembourg to LSE was completed in less than 90 days, the company said.
The other recipients of the annual awards given under multiple categories included Tata Sons for Investor of the Year, Azim Premji for Business Person of the Year and Vijay Mallya for Entrepreneur of the Year.
Shares in Subex were trading at Rs 408.70, down 1.90% on BSE.
