Mumbai: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will buy back government bonds worth Rs10,000 crore in an auction on Friday as it battles to lower consistently high borrowings by banks in the daily repo window. Banks are borrowing more than Rs1 trillion from the RBI at 7.75% repo rate.
