New Delhi: Unitech Ltd and Bharti Realty Pvt. Ltd, the real estate arm of Bharti Group, which had bid for a 350-acre plot in Gurgaon along with India’s largest developer DLF Ltd, have been technically disqualified from the bid, a person close to the development said. The reserve price of the land is Rs1,750 crore.
With the disqualification, DLF is likely to get the land. The land on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road is meant for setting up a recreation and leisure project including residential, commercial, sports and golf course activities, according to information on the web site of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, which had invited the bids.
Bharti Realty and Unitech officials could not be reached for comment.
