BackIDBI Trusteeship acquires 6.44% equity shares of Adani Power
As many as 18.49 crore shares are pledged in favour of IDBI Trusteeship Services

New Delhi: IDBI Trusteeship Services Ltd has acquired 6.44% shares of Adani Power after it invoked pledges on 18.49 crore shares of the company on 17 June.
IDBI Trusteeship Services is a security trustee holding the pledge as security for various banks for their loans sanctioned to Adani Power, the company said in a BSE filing.
As many as 18.49 crore shares are pledged in favour of IDBI Trusteeship Services Ltd, pursuant to approval of the lenders and the high court order for demerger on 17 May 2015, Adani Power said in the statement.
The statement revealed that the IDBI Trusteeship acquired 18.49 crore shares on 17 June. As per the statement, Adani Power has a total of 287.19 crore equity shares of ₹ 10 each.
