Mumbai: Jindal Steel and Power Ltd is looking to raise a combined ₹ 15,000 crore through non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and an issue of securities.
Jindal Steel and Power will seek shareholders approval to raise ₹ 10,000 crore through non-convertible debentures and another ₹ 5,000 crore through the issue of securities. These resolutions will be put to vote at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting on 18 September.
On Tuesday, Jindal Steel closed at ₹ 68.95 per share on BSE, 2.15% lower than its previous close.
