Some good large-cap stocks right now are ACC Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and Larsen and Toubro Ltd; good mid-cap stocks are Welspun Gujarat, Alstom Projects India Ltd, Syndicate Bank, etc.

I have open long position in Infosys Technologies Ltd created at Rs2,240. However, the current rate has come down sharply from my buying levels. What should I do?

For Infosys Rs2,240 is the trigger price as the stock can move up in the short term once it crosses this level. Since your stop-loss has already gone, I would suggest you put a stop-loss at Rs2,142 and remain long presently.

You may put a target of Rs2,310. But please be informed this is not an intra-day strategy.
