Dubai: Life Insurance Corporation International, the overseas unit of the Indian insurance firm LIC, will now offer its services to Bahraini citizens besides the expatriate population - whom it was already catering to, a news report has said.
To promote its products among Baharaini citizens, LIC International launched an intensive campaign last night, a report in Gulf Daily News said.
LIC International is a joint venture between International Agencies Company (Intercol) and LIC of India. Set up in 1989 in Bahrain, the company currently services more than 60,000 policies with an asset base of USD 332 million.
“By launching this new campaign, LIC International aims to increase its customer base in Bahrain and the GCC,” LIC chairman T Vijayan was quoted as saying by the daily.
The company is offering several life insurance products that are designed to suit the varied needs of people, he added.
