Mumbai: Shares of PC Jeweller Ltd. gained 10.2% on their first trading day, marking the second successful listing on the stock exchanges this week after Credit Analysis and Research Ltd (CARE).
All eyes are now on telecom tower operator Bharti Infratel Ltd, which makes it trading debut on Friday.
The jewellery maker and retailer’s shares rose as much as 14.6% to Rs.154.70, and pared some gains to close at Rs.148.80 on the National Stock Exchange.
PC Jeweller raised more than Rs 600 crores in its initial share sale. Among its peers, Thangamayil Jewellery Ltd has gained 126.3% year to date and Tara Jewels Ltd that listed on 6 December has dropped 2.7%.
Shares of the rating company CARE gained 23.2% on their trading debut on Wednesday after receiving strong demand in the Rs.540 crore initial public offering.
