BackApax sells 6.38 million Apollo Hospitals shares for `530 crore
Oppenheimer Funds buys shares via open market route at average price of `830; deal valued at `529.99 crore

Mumbai: Private equity firm Apax Partners on Monday offloaded 6.38 million shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd for about ₹ 530 crore. The shares were bought by Oppenheimer Funds Inc through open market route.
As per information available with the stock exchanges, Apax Partners Europe Managers Ltd sold 6.38 million shares of the healthcare services provider. The shares were sold on average price of ₹ 830 valuing the deal at Rs529.99 crore.
As of December quarter, Apax Partners Europe Managers Ltd held 1.34 crore shares or 9.67% stake in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise.
Shares of Apollo Hospitals slipped 0.24% to settle at Rs836.30 apiece on the BSE.
