Mumbai: State-run lender Dena Bank on Monday raised interest rates offered on 1-2 year deposits by 35 basis points (bps) with effect from 22 December.
One bps is one-hundredth of a percentage point.
The bank will now offer 9.1% interest for deposits with one to two year maturity as against 8.75% offered earlier.
Senior citizens will get additional interest of half a percentage point over and above the card rate, the bank said in a release.
