Ten Years After the 2004 Tsunami

On 26 December 2004, an earthquake of 9.15 magnitude off the coast of Indonesia triggered a massive tsunami in the Indian Ocean, killing around 226,000 people in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and nine other countries. Survivors and relatives of victims gather along shorelines of the Indian Ocean to mark the 10th anniversary of the disaster.
