The fourth and fifth floors of the newly reopened Chabad House are only being partly renovated. This is to ensure that visitors view the devastation caused by the 2008 Mumbai attacks. 2/7Chabad House continues to have a synagogue on the second floor, where the body of rabbi Holtzberg was found after the terror attacks. The holy Torah, or the scroll bearing the religious teachings, is kept inside the cupboard. 3/7The parents of slain rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg, rabbi Nachman and Frieda Holtzberg, who were setting foot in Chabad House for the first time after the attacks that claimed the lives of their son and daughter-in-law, Rivka. 4/7The room of Moshe, the son of rabbi Holtzberg and Rivka, who was 2 at the time of the attacks. He now lives with his paternal grandparents in Israel. 5/7Rebbetzin Chaya Kozlovsky, wife of rabbi Yisroel Kozlovsky, sits in the renovated restaurant on the first floor of Chabad House. Here, members of the Jewish community partake of kosher meals. The rabbi and his wife moved to India in February 2013. 6/7A library with religious texts is located on the second floor. 7/7Damyantiben, mother of Harishbhai Gohil, 25, who was killed by a bullet when he stepped out of his home near Chabad House. Gohil was the sole breadwinner of his family.
