Mayon volcano eruption in Philippines kills five

One of the Philippines' most active volcanoes spewed huge rocks and ash after daybreak Tuesday, killing at least five climbers and trapping more than a dozen others near the crater.

The volcano has erupted around 40 times in the last 400 years. It last erupted in 2010, forcing thousands of residents to move to temporary shelters due to ash ejected across a five-mile zone that surrounded the crater. AP
